Communicate with our local community, ‘ON Hwa(On:話)’

CJ ENM operates a social contribution program called ‘ON Hwa(On:話)’ in collaboration with Seocho-gu Bangbae Senior Welfare Center, which produces the wisdom of the lives of the elderly in the local community and the stories of the youth through storytelling content such as videos, webtoons, and storybooks, informs the community, and contributes to generational harmony.

Starting with the launch of the first batch in 2022, it operates the second batch in 2023 and the third batch in 2024, producing various web content and receiving great response from the local community. CJ ENM helps increase the completeness of the content by supporting business funds and professional lectures on contents with employees mentoring, and college student supporters will use online platforms such as videos and webtoons to upload the everyday-lives stories and activities of the elderly living in Seocho-gu to the welfare center newsletter and SNS, contributing to strengthening the communication across local community and generation.

In 2024, 11 young supporters produced four video contents with the support of CJ ENM Commerce Division employees mentoring along with nine senior citizens to share positive interactions with the community.

CJ ENM will continue to make active efforts to fulfill corporate social responsibilities and practice ESG management that coexists with our local community through sincere social contribution activities.
