KCON announced today that KCON:TACT 3, the virtual adaptation of the world’s largest K-pop concert and convention series, will return for a third iteration spanning March 20-28. KCON, which was one of the first adopters of the virtual concert experience in 2020, will bring back its signature innovative technology for KCON:TACT 3, a full week of performances and meet & greets from K-pop’s biggest names.
Fans attending KCON:TACT 3 can expect to jump head-first into immersive live concerts with audience interaction they enjoyed in previous seasons, as well as some new surprises. Popular programs from the offline KCON USA and KCON Japan will also be brought to life virtually, including local influencer workshops and Meet & Greet programs. Providing the most interactive experience for fans than ever before, the popular KCON:TACT programs will be held in a variety of different time zones and languages so that fans all over the world can participate live.
The concert portion of KCON:TACT 3 will embrace its World Tour theme, from the grand opening to the special stages. Advanced technology will be used to recreate previous KCON venues and stages, creating an immersive experience for fans who will be taken on a ""world tour"" with their favorite K-pop artist. Fan favorite collaboration stages, special stages and spin-off shows will be announced in the coming weeks, in addition to the lineup.

KCON:TACT will again be streamed to countries around the world through YouTube to fans with a membership. In Korea, KCON:TACT 3 will be streamed exclusively on CJ ENM's OTT platform, Tving.
KCON, first launched in 2012, has been held in many countries around the world including the U.S., France, Australia, Mexico, Japan, and has grown as the World's largest K-Culture festival, with more than 1.1 million people gathering at 24 KCON events to date. CJ ENM launched KCON:TACT in 2020, a first-of-its-kind event that extends the KCON experience on a virtual level. KCON:TACT has attracted more than 8.45 million fans from around the world; the current online KCON:TACT will create synergy with offline programs in the future to create the next level K-culture experience. Returning in March 2021, KCON:TACT 3 will showcase the present and the future of K-Pop to a global audience.
