‘DIA Festival 2018 with Nolggot,’ Asia’s largest independent creator festival, which was co-hosted by CJ ENM and the Seoul Metropolitan Government and sponsored by ‘Nolggot’ of Seilcreation Co., Ltd. was held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul from the 18th to the 19th. The DIA Festival has attracted a cumulative total of 113,000 visitors for the past three years including this year’s event that amassed about 43,000 spectators.

Most notably, this year’s festival drew fans from not only from the Seoul metropolitan area but also from around the world, including an enthusiast who flew more than 16 hours from Quebec, Canada to attend the festival during vacation.

‘Nolggot,’ which participated as a title sponsor, is an app service that guides users to places to eat, drink, play, and enjoy based on their locations. 'DIA Festival with Nolggot’ has established itself as the largest O2O (Online to Offline) event in Korea by integrating the targeting method used in digital marketing into a festival in a bid to maximize brand experience through win-win cooperation between DIA TV and Seilcreation Co., Ltd., a startup with strong growth potential.

The event which was held under the slogan of 'LIGHT NOW,’ featured customized stages matching genres and marketing targets such as ▲games (15-29 males) ▲beauty (15-29 females) ▲music and entertainment (15-29 males and females) ▲food and kids (families). The festival was topped by about 100 teams of top domestic creators such as Daedoseogwan, Heopop, SSin, Hei Jini & Lucky Kangi, 1Million, and Banzz.

Creators also helped introduce outstanding products from five companies selected as the best teams in the '2018 Small and Medium-sized Startup & Creator Matching Contest' hosted by the Seoul Creative Economy Innovation Center serving as CJ Group's small and medium-sized startup support partner and organized by CJ ENM's independent creator support project DIA TV and CJ Hello.

The festival atmosphere was further ratcheted up by a host of companies and institutions that wanted to communicate directly with independent creators and the public, including ▲Ticket Bay, the official ticket seller, ▲Canon, which released a special independent media package consisting of the optimal camera and equipment for video content production, and ▲the Korea Copyright Commission, which provided customized legal consulting service on copyrights for independent creators.

The festival also featured fansign events, photo ops, bazaars, giveaways, and booths tapping into the characters of creators such as Heopop, Lime Tube, and Ha Neul. The event packed with attractions was concluded with a parade in which all the creators who were on the stage took part.
