"Comprehensive entertainment channel tvN won two awards of the Gold Prize and the Silver Prize at the world's largest promotional awards ceremony 'PromaxBDA Asia 2019'.
tvN won the Gold Prize in the 'Best Outdoor or Print AD' category for the interactive outdoor advertisement of ‘When the Devil Calls Your Name’ and the Silver Prize in the 'Best Print Campaign' category for the main image of ‘The Great Escape 2’ at 'PromaxBDA Asia 2019' held at the Art House in Singapore on November 29 (local time).
The PromaxBDA Awards (Promax Broadcast Design Association Promotion, Marketing and Design Global Excellence Awards) is an awards ceremony that 'PromaxBDA', an association for promotion, design, and broadcasting PR/marketing, celebrates outstanding achievements in global marketing design promotions every year. More than 10,000 companies and experts around the world are active members of the association, and it is considered a prestigious award in the field of broadcast design.
In addition to winning the Gold Prize in 'PromaxBDA Asia' for 3 years in a row, first season of 'The Great Escape' <Pop-up Secret Room> won the silver medal in 2018.
The interactive outdoor advertisement for 'When the Devil Calls Your Name,' which was recognized at this year's awards ceremony, caught the footsteps of passersby by displaying the question 'Do you want to extend your contract with the devil?' on the DMC Geoinizi (large screen) in Sangam-dong from July 15 to October 4, 2019. The interactive poster, which starts with a video where the devil Ryu (Park Sung-woong) proposes to buy your soul, has different results depending on which button is pressed: 'I’ll sell my soul' or 'I won’t sell my soul'. The interactive poster for <When the Devil Calls Your Name> can also be experienced on the tvN drama YouTube.
The main visual for 'The Great Escape 2' caught the eye by capturing the lively expressions of Kang Ho-dong, Kim Jong-min, Kim Dong-hyun, Shin-dong, Yoo Byung-jae, and P.O. On the group image was applied a three-dimensional effect that meticulously encapsulated each and every facial expression of the performers. The posters of each performer also received good reviews for maximizing the sense of space with only a yellow background, black and white lines, and contrast.
