'I Can See Your Voice' Debuts on FOX

The wait is over. The US version of ‘I Can See Your Voice’ premiered on FOX last night with great results.

The music mystery show has topped ratings in the US last night with 4.6 million total viewers and 1.2 rating in adults 18-49. The ratings rank 1st within the same time slot, competing against NBC’s ‘America’s Got Talent’ and ‘Love Island’ from CBS.

Produced by FOX Alternative Entertainment, the launching of the new primetime show followed a new season of ‘THE MASKED SINGER’ also featuring Ken Jeong as a panelist.

Lee Sun-young, creator of the format said “We had a lot of fun while filming the pilot and the first episode, we knew it would resonate with the US viewers at once. It was very exciting filming with Ken, and with all the previous experiences we’ve had with previous international versions, we were able to bring the best out of the US version.”

‘I Can See Your Voice’ will air every Wednesday on FOX 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT.

I Can See Your Voice is an Emmy-nominated format created by CJ ENM and premiered on channel mnet in 2015 and has is preparing season 8 in Korea. The purpose of this show is to find, among six or seven contestants, which ones are good singers and which ones are tone-deaf based on their visual appearance and demeanor, and without hearing them sing live.
